I asked him if he actually knows the owner and he said yes, so I told him I’m Inspector Spencer from the West Mercia homicide squad and that there’s an ongoing investigation because the owner was found dead. Pretty sure he’s not gonna bother calling again!

Just got a voicemail from this number sayin it was urgent from HM Revenue and Customs. They left a message but sounded a bit off. Gonna block it now. Cheers M

Just got a call from these muppets but didn’t pick up. Let it ring through to my voicemail where I’ve got a message that basically says their call’s not worth my time and not to bother ringing back! Doubt they’ll bother trying again.

They told me I could receive between £1800 and £5000 for some accident I supposedly been in. When I said yes I'd had an accident, I told him the damage was a broken heart, he said sorry but there was nothing they could do, only time would heal it. Then he just ended the call. Pretty miserable experience :(

Spotted ‘Manchester’ on the caller ID (I’m based in London) so just ignored it, then looked the number up afterwards. Bloody nuisances.

Some bloke called saying I’d been in a car accident. I said, “Oh yeah, must’ve been a bad knock on the head, cause I can’t remember a thing!” 😝 He didn’t catch the joke and kept asking for details! Proper funny lol.

Got a call from some accident claim firm saying I'd been in a crash. Asked for details and they just cut me off. So I blocked the number, then they rang from a new one, different area code or mobile. Isn't this meant to be against GDPR rules? Honestly, they deserve a huge fine to make them stop!
