I got a call from 01614703124, and the man claimed he was with HMRC, threatening me with court action and telling me to speak to my solicitor and local police because there was supposedly a warrant for my arrest. When I mentioned I needed to chat with my son, who's actually a police officer, he just ended the call straight away. Seemed pretty dodgy to me.

Got a call from 01844480702 claiming to be HMRC. The caller, who said they were officer Sarah Wilson from HM Revenue & Customs, left an automated female voice message. They told me or my solicitor to ring their local office on 01614703124. The message warned that if we didn’t get back to them, we’d have to face serious legal trouble. Felt pretty dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from revenue and customs but clearly a scam! They kept threatening with legal action and said we needed to have solicitors lined up, all for no explainable reason. Stay safe, it’s not legit!
