Got a call from someone with a foreign accent, maybe Filipino or Indian-American, sounded pretty rushed. They started off with “this is about your car accident,” then quickly added “right?” like hoping I’d say yes so they’d keep chatting, or say no so they’d hang up. Instead, I decided to be polite and just asked, “Sorry, who’s this?” He sounded exasperated and just said “oh my god!” before cutting me off.
