Scam alert! I put a stop to them right away and blocked the number!

I kept getting calls from 0161 451 4856, but no one would say anything when I answered - just silence, I guess they were checking if someone was actually there. Then, about 5 mins later, another call comes through from some call centre in Indonesia or somewhere in Asia, trying to pitch these online finance deals, like investing in shares. They don't give up easily either, so I had to give them a good telling off a few times before they finally stopped ringing me.

Got a super impolite call today from someone claiming I showed interest in their stuff. I said no way, and then they actually called me a fibber! Honestly, I'd love to know where they're based so I can give them a piece of my mind...

These guys are scammers, calling about internet share trading. They use loads of different phone numbers, so even if you block one, they ring you back with another number after a couple of days. I've already reported them to OFCOM, but they just keep coming.

Got a call from this number earlier but the moment I picked up, they hung up straight away. When I tried ringing back, it just didn’t sound like it was ringing at all! Wonder what that was about.
