Got a call from this number earlier, they claimed to be from Barclays. They wanted me to answer some questions before sharing any details, said it would take about 15 minutes. I told them I was busy at work and asked if they could call me later around 2pm. Never heard back from them after that.

Had a call the other day from someone saying it was about my Barclays account and wanted me to give them 'security' info over the phone. I told them no thanks, I’m not sorting anything like that and haven’t got any issues with my account. They got pretty rude and said they’d keep ringing me until it got sorted. I’ve just blocked the number now!

Someone phoned claiming to be from Barclays but refused to tell me anything unless I gave my info first to some unknown person on a strange number. Complete nonsense, so I just said no and told them to send any info in writing, which of course never happened. Honestly, it’s not shocking. Never give out your details on a call - ask them to put it in a letter and make sure they take your number off their list.
