I received a rather unsolicited call from a company claiming to be from SAS in Manchester, promoting 'complimentary alarm systems'. They obviously disregarded the fact that my number is on the Telephone Preference Service list. I've gone ahead and reported them.

I received a rather intrusive call from SAS Security, apparently trying to peddle their security systems in light of the recent rise in criminal activity around here. It’s particularly baffling as my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I’m unsure how they obtained it. I attempted to address my concerns with the “Call Centre Manager”, but unfortunately, they were quite impolite and avoided providing any clear answers. They did mention a Jon Regis, supposedly her superior, reachable at 0161 431 4477. Quite the frustrating experience, to say the least!
