Got a call from some scam people, sounded like an Asian accident hotline or something. Definitely dodgy.

I got two calls yesterday, one around 10 in the morning and another about 4 in the afternoon. Every time, the person on the line just kept saying hello without really saying anything else.

They rang me but luckily I wasn’t home at the time.

I got a call near 11am from a woman with an Asian accent, claiming to be from some accident helpline. She said it was about a car crash I’d been in, which was true but a minor one about a year back. When I asked her to tell me exactly when the accident was, she suddenly passed me over to a bloke, also with an Asian accent, who started rambling on nonsense. When I tried to ask my question again, he cut me off and carried on talking. I ended the call then and there - seemed like total scammers to me.

Got a call around 7 tonight from a lady with an asian accent, she was talking about some fire accident claim or something, if I understood her right. I told her my house ain't burning down and just ended the call. Fingers crossed she doesn’t know where I live and ain’t packing any matches.

Got a call earlier from a woman who sounded Asian, she said she was ringing from some kind of ‘accident help line’. I just told her ‘no thanks’ and ended the call. Tried ringing the number back afterwards and it said ‘number not recognised’, no surprise there!
