They abruptly hung up once it became clear that their spiel wasn't gaining any traction.

I kicked off the conversation by inquiring about when Yell might actually deliver some results for us, but the chap then proceeded to peddle the notion that they were a search engine, which is simply not true. I promptly informed him that contacting this number was inappropriate as it’s registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and that we prefer not to conduct business over the phone. Nonetheless, he insisted on prattling on about front-page listings, increased income, and the like. He even mentioned an interest in our offerings for himself, which frankly sounded rather dubious. Eventually, he wrapped up the call when it became clear he was getting nowhere. Now, he’s firmly on our blocked list.

Claiming to be a search engine and pushing their services rather aggressively, they initially touted a week’s free trial with no strings attached. However, once it became evident that they weren't making any headway, they abruptly ended the call without as much as a goodbye. Quite the unsatisfactory experience, if you ask me!
