He insisted on knowing my name when I refused to connect him to the manager of the individual he was searching for. It was clearly a cold call, and I found his attitude to be quite impolite and egotistical.

I encountered a rather insistent lady on the phone who was exceedingly reluctant to disclose the reason for her call or provide any details. She only mentioned her name and that she was with ADP, and that was about it. It felt like she wouldn’t accept any response other than ‘yes’ or ‘I’ll call you back’. Quite persistent, as she stated she would ring again shortly.
