Similar to what others have mentioned, I informed him that I was in the IT field, and then he promptly ended the call.

I got two calls from this number earlier. The guy said his name was Kevin, spoke with a very strong Indian accent. I hung up straight away. Later, he left a voicemail claiming there was a bomb attached to my home and told me to leave immediately or he’d blow himself up. Honestly, if that’s not a proper threat, then what is?

I received a rather dubious call from someone purporting to be from BT, claiming that my IP address was compromised and required immediate alteration. I allowed him to ramble on for a bit, during which he provided me with a code and insisted I use my laptop. I decided to play along for a spell, yet when he felt I wasn’t taking him seriously enough, he threatened to block my IP and escalate the matter to the authorities. I cheekily inquired if he intended to turn himself in as well, which didn’t seem to sit well with him at all. Then he insisted he’d disconnect my internet, to which I casually replied that he could do as he pleased, and wished him a splendid day!

This morning I answered a phone call from someone who said he was 'David' and claimed to be from the 'British Telecom Technical Department', though he had a thick Indian accent. I immediately told him I was aware he wasn't genuine, and he then asked me, "How do you know that?"

Got a call on my home phone from someone claiming to be from BT saying there was an issue with my broadband security. He wanted me to get online so he could 'fix' it over the phone. He said he couldn't send an email report because of some ‘security issue’. What’s odd is I haven’t had any computer gear connected to this line since last year summer. Honestly, don’t trust these people or share any details - sounds like they might be the ones causing the problems in the first place.

A chap claiming to be from BT rang me up, insisting that while I was online shopping, someone was simultaneously duplicating my IP address. He demanded my internet security information. Naturally, I flat out refused and mentioned I’d be taking my own measures. Cheerio! Honestly, folks, let’s not be naive and fall for these tricks; these fraudsters need to get their act together instead of trying to con innocent people. BT, you really ought to take action regarding this number that contacted me in mid-May 2017.

I've received yet another call from an individual with an Indian accent, who introduced himself as Adam and said he was representing BT. I'm well aware of these scam calls, so I don’t engage with them, but it’s honestly becoming rather irksome. It's high time that action is taken against these con artists!

I received a rather dubious call from an Indian gentleman purporting to be from BT technical support. He claimed that while I was online shopping, someone was simultaneously pilfering my IP address and was eager to learn about my internet security. Naturally, I refused to divulge any information, stating firmly that I would take my own measures to safeguard my data. I truly urge everyone to be on their guard against such scams and not fall for these lowlifes’ tricks! It’s astonishing how some folks seem to neglect their education and become such nuisances. BT, please take action regarding this number; they reached out to me in the middle of May 2017!

I got a call from someone claiming to be Leon, said he was from British Telecom's tech team. I just hung up and blocked the contact straight away. It baffles me how these scammers get away with it. Even though I’m on the TPS list and use the CPR Call Blocker, these annoying calls still slip past. No chance that ‘Leon’ won’t keep ringing back, probably using fake numbers every single time.

The gentleman on the line had a distinctly Indian accent and struck me as exceptionally well-informed. The background noise of operators chatting added an air of authenticity to the call. He even provided a number for me to ring back if I wished to verify his credentials, along with his work number. Although I chose not to follow through with his suggestion, he remained incredibly courteous and accommodating throughout our conversation. It was a bit unnerving, to be honest, how genuinely intent he seemed on assisting me with the alarming £3,000 warning from BT that popped up on my computer.

I received a rather dubious phone call the other day from someone purporting to be from the technical support team at BT. When I mentioned I'd prefer to ring them back, he kindly provided a toll-free number, which I’ve yet to use. However, I reported the incident to BT's nuisance calls team, and they confirmed that no one from BT had reached out to me this morning at all. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

I recently received a rather alarming phone call, purporting to be from BT security, claiming that my laptop was at risk due to some dodgy websites. When I probed for more details to confirm their identity, they became evasive, prompting me to hang up. Upon redialling, lo and behold, the number seemed to be invalid. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I encountered a deceitful individual who was quite aggressive. They alleged that my computer was involved in some unlawful activities on the internet. When I confronted them about their claims, they resorted to leaving threatening messages, bizarrely stating that a bomb had been planted in my home. Quite unsettling, really!
