Got a call about insuring my tv against breakdowns. They kept pushing their "cheap retiree" cover really hard. Ended up hanging up and blocked them straight away, way too pushy for my liking.

I asked to talk to my manager but was told they weren’t around. I asked, “Could you give me his mobile number?” They said no, but offered to take my number so he could ring me back. I wasn’t happy leaving my details, so I just said no and ended the call.

Some bloke rang asking for my manager, I told him she wasn't free. He then mumbled something about leaving a message (seriously?). I told him to just remove our number from their call list instead, but he acted like I was speaking a foreign language. No way am I passing on anyone to my boss who can't keep it short and sweet, under 20 words.

this lady called asking for my manager, kept wanting his info but i didn’t share any, she never said why she was ringing, just said wanted to catch up or something, in the end i blocked the number.

someone named paul rang me from 01614 256284 claiming to be from kbs but he wouldn’t explain what kbs actually was. he kept going on about shareholders and directors needing feedback. he refused to connect me to anyone else on the call. also, he didn’t want to share his surname saying it was due to ‘data protection’. quite shady if you ask me!

Got a call from what sounded like an Indian call centre, and these scammers keep switching up their numbers all the time. I've blocked every number they've used and even reported them to Action Fraud. Hopefully, they get caught soon!

I asked for my boss but the lady said it was only a quick catch up and that she’d call me again later. Still, I’m not going to let her through!

Had a ring about some supposed shareholder issue - yeah right, like I’m buying that! Sounds like another sales pitch to me.
