Got a voicemail saying it was from Ofcom, warning me that my internet and phone service was hacked and would be cut off soon. They told me to wait on the call to chat with a BT operator. Rang BT myself afterwards and they said it was definitely a scam.

Has anyone else got these weird calls about PPI? They say they're helping me sort out a claim but I've never actually put one in. They keep going on about some forms they sent me that I never received! Seems fishy to me.

this number called me twice in the space of an hour, each time someone else answered. both left voicemail messages telling me to ring a different number (0164 3121125). the messages didn’t seem meant for me, and they never mentioned what company they were from. both callers spoke with really strong accents, so I reckon they might be calling from abroad.
