I got a call from someone saying I had to get a new router, sounded like one of those scams I've seen before - they disable your router for a while then try to rob your bank account or something. They gave me a number that turned out to be fake and when I tried to check it by dialing 1471, all I got was silence. Definitely some dodgy business going on there.

Got a call from someone saying they were with the national debt helpline, telling me i owed money to lloyds bank and that i could cut it by half through some government scheme called iva. they were really pushing that their info was spot on, but it sounded off to me like they were working from really outdated records. when i told them they were mistaken, they just kept repeating the same thing. i asked for their contact details so i could report them but they couldn’t even say where they were based. ended up blocking the number and adding it to the tps list straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the national debt agency and said they were linked to the government. I told them I'd signed up for the telephone preference service and that what they were doing wasn’t allowed. Of course, they just hung up after that.
