On 31st August 2022, around 10.15 in the morning, I got an automated call saying money had been withdrawn from my bank for Amazon purchases. Total scam, no doubt. I hung up straight away and put the number on my block list. Funny thing was, they never said what bank they were pretending to be from. Clearly my number was just next in line for their dodgy scheme.

I got a robocall where a voice pretending to be from HMRC said there's some tax dodging issues linked to me. Whatever you do, don’t hit 1 when they ask you to.
