I'm receiving calls from this number every single day, and it appears they just don't get that I'm not keen on their outreach. It looks like I'll be putting a stop to it by blocking them come tomorrow!

Every time I get one of those calls about being in an accident, I just ask them "Oh really? When did that happen? You seem to have all the info, not me." Usually they just cut off the call straight away. I've blocked the number now to avoid getting bothered again.

I’ve been getting these pestering calls from the number 01614 140922, it rings me up once or twice every single day. I finally picked up to find a chap named 'Michael' claiming to be from something like Moto Investigations under the Road Traffic Department. He said I had supposedly been in a road traffic incident two years ago and that I was entitled to some funds. I told him straight away that I wasn’t interested and that I want my number taken off whatever list they’ve got, and requested not to be contacted ever again or have my details passed on to other companies. His tone shifted dramatically, and he got quite confrontational, insisting, “This isn’t a call centre, I can’t help you remove your number. We aren’t asking for any personal information.” Then he attempted to press me with questions about this supposed money I was owed. I repeated that I had no interest and decided to do a bit of digging - turns out this ‘department’ isn’t even a thing in the UK. I reiterated my request to be removed and for all communication to cease. To my disbelief, he said, “We’ll call you every single day, as we are not a call centre.” I countered, pointing out that if they’re ringing me every day, they most definitely have my number on record, and I demanded again for it to be taken off the list. He then threatened to hang up on me, claiming I was being 'aggressive' when all I wanted was to be left alone. I got into a car crash once, and it wasnt my fault at all. After a call about it, i just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Its so annoying how these people wont stop bothering you, and I really dont get why theres nothing done to stop them.

I received a rather puzzling call on my mobile. A lady named "Wendy," who seemed to have a Southeast Asian accent, possibly Filipino, was inquiring about a fictitious car accident. She rang me on the 20th, 24th, and 30th of November in 2017 at various times during the day. I picked up the first call and, after listening to her drone on about my so-called "recent accident" for a good minute, I had to cut her off sharply and tell her to "get lost!" before hanging up. The following two calls appeared in my call log but went unanswered. It's a maddening side effect of having internet access and the unscrupulous trading of personal information!

I've asked them to stop calling, but they still ring me around five times every day. They just won't take my number off their list. It's really annoying!

Got calls about some supposed accident I never had, and it was 4 times all in one day. Absolute muppets.

They were really relentless, even after I nicely told them to take me off their list and stop calling. It didn’t help though, as they kept ringing about some accident that never happened. When I asked if they could take me off their database, they said no because the file was still open regarding this phantom accident and apparently there’s no way to close it. Honestly, something’s got to be done to deal with these lot.

They rung me up three times but never left any voicemail.

So frustrating!

Got called nearly five times today about some accident that never happened. These folks are just pestering everyone and honestly, they should be shut down and face some serious legal action.
