Someone kept calling offering a PPI check for Unite the Union folks. They wouldn’t take no for an answer and just kept chatting away, had to just hang up cause they weren’t letting go.

I just received a phone call where they were quite insistent on obtaining my information to carry out a PPI check. They mentioned that they'd take a hefty 30%, inclusive of VAT, from any compensation awarded. Quite cheeky if you ask me!

Received a rather persistent call from a company purporting to be from Unite. They were probing for details about which banks I’ve dealt with regarding a potential PPI mis-selling claim. They also wanted to verify my address and date of birth. It seemed quite urgent as they mentioned they'd dispatch a claim form to my home address straight away and stressed the need for me to send it back promptly. Very keen on getting that form returned without delay!
