Got a call from someone with an asian accent saying they were from BT about some foreign interference on my internet. Told me to get on my computer but I said I was a police inspector and that a mate was recording the call. He then said that was against the law and just hung up.

So I got a call from someone with an Asian accent pretending to be from BT, telling me my internet was hacked by some foreign access and my connection was unstable. I told them I was a police officer and that my colleague was on speakerphone recording the call. Then, the caller freaked out, saying the recording was illegal and just ended the call.
