Earlier today, on the 21st of July 2011, we received a call. The caller was inquiring about when we would be needing a delivery or if we had received payment for PPI. When we asked how they had obtained our number, they fell silent and promptly hung up.

Indeed, this number rang us up, probing about my loan situation dating back to 2007! I found it a bit difficult to understand the caller because of their strong Asian accent. When we asked to speak with someone else, they just started cackling! It struck me as rather suspicious, especially since they wouldn’t divulge how they even obtained our number. They mentioned something about being a UK survey or something of that nature. Quite bewildering, to say the least!
