Marion's decision was spot on! This organisation is nothing but a scam!!! They go by the name of London Finance Company (which is quite misleading given that there exists a reputable company with the same name that has issued warnings about this fraudulent operation). They entice you with a loan offer but then demand that you pay a so-called "first month's deposit" using a UKASH voucher, which you can purchase from your local shop. Afterwards, they instruct you to call back with the voucher number. The trouble is, these vouchers are as good as cash, making it impossible to track where your money has gone once they vanish into thin air! My husband unfortunately fell victim to this. They have a very convincing approach - STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A FRAUD! Both North Yorks Police and Manchester Police are aware of these criminals, so if you have any additional information, please do share it with either of them.

The finance company refused to disclose any names, claiming that we had applied for a loan, yet we never actually gave them permission to list us in their directory.
