So this number rang me up earlier claiming to be from the 'Claims Department'. They insisted someone living here had a car crash within the past three years. Thing is, no one I know of at our place has been in any accident lately. Fed up with these annoying calls, I told them to jog on - but not in the nicest manner!

My elderly mum who’s quite vulnerable got a phone call earlier. Got me worried. Some people claiming to be from a solicitor firm, maybe part gov? They kept saying they’d got info from a traffic office about an accident claim. They told me they had official authorisation to bypass the TPS list, just in case I tried to bring it up. Then they switched me over to what sounded like a supervisor. Both callers sounded Indian/Asian. Then after a bit, they just ended the call.

Somebody phoned me saying they were from 'Victorious Ltd' wanting to discuss a recent car accident I supposedly had. They rang my office first, then my home, and even my fax number since they’re all lined up. I told him straight up that I haven’t had any accidents in over three years, and if I ever did, I’d be smart enough to manage my own claim instead of wasting money on fake injury fees. Still, he kept pushing to get my info. The reply I gave him when I finished the call was definitely not something I’d want to share here! PE

Got a missed call from this number today. I rang them back four times, and each time a lady with a Chinese accent answered, asking for my name. I didn’t give it to her, and she kept insisting it was a wrong number! Honestly, how do we put an end to these annoying calls?

Got a call tonight, 23 May 2013, from someone claiming to be from an accident centre saying I’d been in a small accident recently. They even knew my phone number and address. I asked a few questions, but then the caller just ended the call abruptly.

Sounds like a scam to me.
