Got a call from this number today, 27/9/24, claiming there were two charges on my card. I had a feeling it was dodgy but thought I'd see what happens if I pressed 2. They then asked me for my name, so I turned it back on them and said, "You rang me first, so what bank are you from?" The line then went dead. The voice was an Indian lady. Surely any genuine bank would have no problem telling you their name straight away. Don't understand how these numbers can stay in use for such a long time!

They kept telling me I'd been in a car crash, which was just not true at all. Really pushy, too. Claimed they were from a solicitors' office.

Posted an ad on Gumtree and got two calls from ‘RTA’ for Churchill, like some other folks mentioned. What’s odd is, I was involved in a no fault road accident recently and guess what? The other lot’s insurers were Churchill too! Took me a good 10 minutes to realise the connection. Proper annoying!

I've been getting calls from this number around four or five times daily. It's quite puzzling, really, as sometimes they just hang up without uttering a word, while other times they’ve claimed I was involved in a car accident. My recommendation? Just block the number and don’t bother picking up. It’s not worth the hassle!

Got three calls from different mobiles, all linked to my Gumtree listings. Each time I asked for proof, they threw a couple of numbers my way - 0161 408 1616 and 0207 486 5840, apparently from RTC working with Churchill. The mobiles they rang me from were 07562 308 456, 07388 362 657, and 07397 316 545. Typical runaround really.
