I received a curious phone call where the caller greeted me with a "hello there" before abruptly ending the conversation. There was quite a bit of background noise, which sounded like a bustling call centre. When I attempted to return the call using the same number, I was met with a recorded message from BT stating that the number wasn't recognised at all. Upon consulting with BT, they informed me that this originated from a call centre. Quite odd, isn't it?

I received five calls within the span of an hour, and every time I picked up, they just disconnected. It’s rather infuriating! Why on earth is this even permitted? To make matters worse, when I attempted to return the call, it was an unavailable number. Such a nuisance!

Received a dodgy financial call despite my number being on the TPS list. I really put them on the spot and exposed two of their fibs. Subsequently, I reported them via the ICO.GOV.UK survey regarding nuisance calls. It's worth noting, a recent case saw a firm slapped with a hefty £500,000 fine - about time they started making an example of these culprits!

Absolutely nobody picked up.

This evening, right around half eight, I received a rather curious call. The person on the other end enquired if I was the account holder, followed by questions about my credit card balance and minimum payment. Quite bizarre, if you ask me! Before I could fully process what was happening, they abruptly ended the call. The name “Spencer Solutions” flashed on my screen at the beginning, which set off alarm bells in my mind. It seems they might be fishing for details to sell to other financial firms. Next time, I’ll certainly just hang up without hesitation!
