A woman, sounded like she might be Chinese, rang me up. She knew my last name and said she was from Microsoft. She claimed I'd ignored alerts in my Microsoft Account about my computer being hacked. When I told her Microsoft wouldn't call like that, she gave me a dodgy Windows serial number, saying it was linked to my system. I just ended the call. They phoned back two more times straight away, but I didn't pick up.

Got in touch with Beneficial Life London Ltd after seeing someone else mention them here coz I'm fed up with all these annoying calls. They told me it's not actually them making the calls, as they only work with Mortgage Advisers and don’t ring people directly. Apparently they've been getting loads of complaints about these calls recently, but they assured me it’s definitely not their doing. They said there's quite a few companies with 'Beneficial' in their name. A manager called Lee even phoned me back after I reached out to sort it out.
