01613966027 has been ringing me a few times but shows up as a private caller. I generally don’t pick up if I don’t know the number, but I decided to answer tonight, only for them to end the call straight away. They’ve now joined my long list of blocked contacts.

They said they were doing surveys and wanted my info, which I wouldn’t give. I just kept saying to take me off the list but then they went and hung up on me. Proper annoying!

Got a call from this number saying they have something good for me. I told them I couldn’t hear properly and asked if they could ring back, figured if it’s important they will or maybe give a callback number. Then they asked me to confirm my postcode, I said no. They also asked if it was my name, again I said no. When I asked for their name and postcode, they refused to give it. They kept pushing, saying we need to talk about something beneficial. So I just hung up.

They’ve rung me about 7 times over the last few days. I finally picked up, and the person on the other end was asking for someone else. When I told them they had the wrong number, they said “you answered, so might as well chat.” They wouldn’t say who they were trying to reach, just kept pushing me to answer some questions. When I refused and asked them to take me off their list, they got quite rude.

Had a really thick accent but somehow he knew my last name, kept pestering me for my first name though. Said he was calling from Beneficial. When I asked what that was, he said it’s a top lifestyle services firm in the UK. Kept pushing for my first name again.
