I got a message saying, "Barclays Bank: Your one-time passcode is 583915 for a payment of £382.30 to ArgosLTD. Don’t share this code with anyone, not even Barclays. If you didn’t ask for this code, ring support straight away on 01613942964." The message came from +212 7 83 44 41 88. I was a bit worried at first, but I didn’t call the number from the text. Instead, I used the Barclays app to get in touch with the bank directly, which felt much safer.
