Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent claiming I could get £50 worth of Tesco or Sainsbury's vouchers. She started asking about my age, what phone provider I used, and if I had life insurance. Things didn’t sit right, so I asked her straight up who she was and why she needed all this info. She got all defensive and said she was finished with the call. Definitely fishing for personal details. Hope those scammers get what’s coming to them.

Got a call earlier from someone with an American accent but you could tell English wasn’t his first language. He claimed to be from Unicare UK doing some sort of assessment and wanted to ask me loads of questions. I told him I wasn’t going to reply until he answered a few of mine first, like who they were, why they were calling me, and where they got my number from. As soon as I started questioning him, he just ended the call!

Got a call around half past eight at night! They told me I was getting a £50 Tesco voucher because I’m a regular customer. Then they started asking about my favourite colour and what brand my washing machine is. I’ve gone ahead and switched all my PINs now.

Totally a scam. Some lady called saying she was from Morrisons and that I’d won some vouchers in a prize draw. She then tried pushing me to hand over personal info. When I didn’t, she even accused me of trying to scam them! I called Morrisons customer help and they said it wasn’t from them at all. I've blocked the number now.
