This is definitely a nuisance call! Anytime you post something car-related on Gumtree - be it the vehicle itself, parts, or even accessories - you can expect a call from these scammers claiming to inquire about an accident you supposedly had. Just waste their time, if you can. Keep them chatting without giving away any info!

I received a call from this number, claiming they had received my information regarding an accident from an outside source. When I inquired about the identity of this supposed third party, as it would constitute a violation of data protection laws, they abruptly terminated the call. Clearly, it's a dodgy scheme.
