10 yearsThis is quite unsuitable; I kindly request its removal.10 yearsI received a rather abrupt call from an Indian lady claiming to represent the FCA regarding a PPI claim I had submitted. When I pointed out that it was actually the financial institution that would process the payout, not the FCA, she turned quite rude and defensive. Despite my attempts to clarify, including mentioning my background in banking, she quickly ended the conversation by hanging up. Quite the unprofessional experience, really!FCA10 yearsReceived a rather suspicious phone call claiming to be from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), informing me that I was eligible for a refund on my PPI. They even had the cheek to follow up with a call from their so-called Accounts Department, insisting that FedEx would be delivering my cash payment that evening. Just as he was about to ask for upfront fees, I recognised it as a dodgy scheme and promptly ended the conversation. I’ve reported this to the FCA, who have confirmed it’s indeed a scam! Stay vigilant, everyone!Financial Conduct AuthorityFCAAccounts DepartmentFedEx10 yearsI was informed that they possessed the funds for our PPI reimbursement. They suggested I purchase £375 in iTunes gift cards, which I was to exchange with a courier for cash. It just doesn’t add up, does it? I can't quite wrap my head around what kind of ruse this is meant to be.Submit Your Own Report (0161 394 0441)
