When I told her the FCA doesn’t handle payouts and that it's the bank that does, she got really rude and started arguing. I even mentioned that I work at a bank to back up what I said, and then she just cut the call. Later, I got another call, supposedly from the Accounts Department, saying FedEx would bring the cash to my place that evening. Just before they tried to ask for a fee, I realised it was fishy and ended the call. I then reported it to the FCA and they said it was definitely a scam!
