I got a voicemail from someone pretending to be from HMRC, saying I had to ring them back straight away. The message finished by warning me or my lawyer to get in touch or risk "legal action." HMRC never leave messages threatening you like that. It's definitely a scam.

Got a robo call said to be from "HMRC" talking about lawyers, urgent stuff and "consequences". I rang back, a bloke answered. I asked where the HMRC office was, he said he had no idea. Asked again for the address and he snapped: "Look, love, do you want it in the mouth or in the p***y" then just hung up. Honestly, their mum must be thrilled.

It’s a call from an Indian call centre. When I got the call, they said they were from my electric company, which I only usually hear from through post, lol. They try to get you to give your account info. I’d say just ignore any calls from that number, it’s definitely a scam.
