Got a call claiming to be from Vodafone, but when I checked, it wasn’t a real Vodafone number at all. I ended up hanging up on them, but they rang back right away. I just didn’t pick up the second time. Watch out for this!

Just got a call pretending to be from EE, trying to trick me. They sounded proper dodgy, asking loads of questions. These scammers are getting worse, pretending to be legit companies. Be careful when you get calls like that, always double check!

Some bloke called himself Alex, sounded like he had a really thick Asian accent. He said he was from O2's customer help. I told him I don’t even use O2 and just cut him off.

Some bloke claimed he was ringing from o2, but I quickly told him he wasn’t and that I’d already had loads of calls from them. I asked to be taken off their list, but he just said, “I’ll keep calling you over and over from different numbers,” before he cut me off!

Heads up to all companies out there, this number keeps ringing us up and the people on the line are really rude. They especially seem to be calling businesses a lot. Watch out for them!

I reckon this was a scam. The voice didn’t sound quite right, almost like it was made by some AI. Plus, the way they answered so fast felt super unnatural, definitely not how a real person would reply. Something just didn’t add up with the whole call.

We got a call at work from 0161 394 0235, the bloke asked if he was talking to someone in charge. When I said no, he just kept chatting away, claiming to be from some gas and electricity consultancy. I told him my manager wasn’t free right now, so he asked if I could give him the mobile number instead. I said no, and then he started moaning about how he was supposed to get in touch. He then dropped his name, Abdul, and said my boss should call him back on 07378 454717, saying he worked for uSwitch. Not too sure if this was all genuine, bit dodgy if you ask me!

I got a call today from some bloke claiming to be with a utilities company - sounded dodgy anyway. I told him off straight away, and when he kept going, I raised my voice even more and gave him a proper earful. Since we’re registered with the TPS, that call wasn’t allowed anyway.

I've been dealing with these calls daily for what feels like ages-sometimes up to ten times in just one day. Eventually, one caller actually confessed he was in Pakistan. It's utterly relentless and has really thrown a spanner in the works for my little business.

Was a total rip-off, said they worked for a electricity company but came off way too aggressive and quite impolite. They wouldn’t stop asking for my phone number and other info, and as soon as I asked some questions, the woman just ended the call. Suspicious and annoying!

Received a call from someone who identified themselves as Eco Energy Services, based in Slough - although the chap pronounced it “slew”. When I asked for a British representative, the supervisor insisted that he was indeed English. I pointed out that he clearly wasn’t and pressed him on whether this was a call centre located in India, conducting power-dialling. To my surprise, he admitted as much but claimed they were representing Eco Energy Services. He then provided me with a callback number starting with 0207, which is for inner London. It’s obvious this is just another shady phishing scam, albeit quite clumsily executed, if I'm honest.

They rang up pretending to be from Just Eat and asked for the owner but didn’t even know the name, which a proper rep definitely would. Claimed they needed to update settings on my order pad, but that’s not something Just Eat ever does. Seemed dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the "Gas and Electricity Department" with an Indian accent. The guy asked how I was, but when I said I was alright until he phoned, he just ignored that. Told him to do one. It's pointless signing up with the Telephone Preference Service when spoofing like this goes on. If they actually fixed that, I bet there'd be far fewer scams.

I received an email that included this phone number, claiming it was for a delivery of a computer I never requested, along with an invoice for a sum I hadn’t approved. I chose not to call the number or engage with it and will definitely inform my bank about the situation.
