Received a rather peculiar call from a number starting with 0161 393 6454, claiming to be associated with some career services. They mentioned I'd reached out to them back in September, inquiring if I required any assistance with jobs, my CV, or any other related support. To my surprise, they had my name and address and even wanted to know my date of birth. They were fishing for information about any courses I'd completed and where I undertook them. To top it off, the woman on the line struggled with the Mancunian accent. From now on, I’ve decided to ignore any calls from numbers I don’t recognise!
