Got a call from a guy with an accent that sounded Asian, his English was a bit off and he said he was with BT. He started saying I must not be very tech-savvy (how would he know that?) and asked me to plug into the internet because apparently there was an issue with my connection. I hadn’t noticed anything wrong so I just told him to buzz off and hung up. Later, he rang again but I didn’t pick up. Then he sent a 4 digit code to my phone, which I ignored too. This feels really dodgy. I’m gonna need some real evidence before trusting anything.
