Got a call about some Government Boiler Fund thing, but the line was terrible and the voice definitely wasn’t local Manchester, sounded like someone from abroad. Seems like one of them automated diallers. Put it straight on block.

They claimed it was from the Government boiler scheme, asked how they got my number and she said some defined data source, even though I never asked for anything. Definitely sounded like an automated dialler.

Annoying call, I don’t normally pick up for numbers I don’t know. I only did this time cos I was waiting on an important call. These idiots should really get in trouble. As soon as I said something, they just cut me off. I bet now I’m gonna get bombarded with random calls, they’ll likely pass my number on to other scam folks.

Got a call about a government boiler programme, I told them I’d already signed up for the green homes grant but she insisted it wouldn’t cover a boiler. When I asked if she could send me her company info by email, she said she’d call back the next day to follow up. It’s been more than 3 hours and no email has shown up, so I looked up the number and ended up on this site. After reading all the reviews, I’m pretty convinced this is best avoided.

the guy said he was ringing about some free boiler deal from the government. i told him i don’t qualify as i already had one installed before my situation changed, like back when i did qualify. he just laughed and said whatever and hung up. he wasn’t rude or anything but felt a bit dodgy to me.

i keep getting calls and texts meant for someone else ive never heard of, all about a missing phone. they usually happen from early morning till around 9 in the evening.

They claimed it was about some eco scheme offering a free boiler and started asking how long I'd had my boiler. I asked how they got my number, and she said they get it from a reliable data provider. When I pressed her on who exactly that was, she refused to say. After pushing a bit more, she admitted the data was actually sold to them. She never even mentioned the company she was calling from. Quite rude, too, insisting she was just trying to help. Getting a random call asking for personal info like that feels really sketchy to me.
