I just received a call from that number - 0161 667 3387. Managed to find out it connects to someone named Barry Sandels, who claims to be the Managing Director. Unfortunately, he wasn't free to chat, so I had to converse with Susan Kennedy, the Head of Operations. I must say, speaking to someone in her position at 18:10 seems rather tardy for a top-level role, doesn't it?

After receiving an incessant barrage of texts and calls proclaiming I've got various sums awaiting me for an accident that I've never even had, I decided enough was enough. I rang their main office at 0161 667 3387. I naturally wanted to discuss this with their managing director, a chap named Barry Sandels, but surprise, surprise - he was unavailable. Instead, I was put through to Susan Kennedy, who apparently heads up operations. She assured me that my number would be taken off their database, but I’m sceptical! I encourage everyone to take a page from their book. Ring up Barry Sandels or Susan Kennedy every time they pester you; let’s turn the tables and give them a taste of their own medicine! It might be entertaining to see how they deal with the annoyance they like to dish out!

The only place I gave my number was when I got travel insurance, so looks like that insurance company messed up and gave my contact away. Be cautious about who you share your number with.

Whoever these muppets are, they rang me out of the blue at 5.09pm today asking about some accident supposedly two and a half years ago. I told the bloke he’s got his facts all wrong, I’ve never had any accident. Still, he kept going on about it, even when I said I haven’t been working since 1991 and never had an accident in my life. Then he muttered something rude I couldn’t catch because of his thick accent, but said he’d take my details off their list. Fingers crossed that’s the final time they bother me!
