Got a call from a number that popped up as BT Call Guardian but the caller never said who they were. Pretty sure it was either a scam or some sort of call centre. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Just a sales call, nothing dodgy, definitely not a scam. All good!

I never pick up when there’s that short pause between rings, usually like a second or two, that’s my sign it’s probably a scam. If you spot that tiny gap just hang up, or say something about £500,000 and watch them run. It seems to freak them out every time.
