Got a call from this number claiming to be from HMRC, offering a tax refund. If it was really them, they wouldn’t have used my nickname like that. Told them I’d check with HMRC myself about any refund and warned that they’re breaking GDPR rules by calling me like this. Said I’d report them if they rang back again. Blocked the number straight away.

i got a call from a woman saying she was from hmrc about a tax refund. she immediately asked if i was married, and i just told her goodbye and ended the call. lately i've been getting a lot of dodgy calls from numbers starting with 0161. if it was legit, surely they’d send me a letter first, and not try fishing for my personal info. now that number’s just another one on my blocked list. i’m sure they’ll try ringing again soon enough.

some woman called me sayin she was from hmrc checking if i could get a tax refund or some rebates. she wasn’t able to say why hmrc wouldn’t already got my tax info. when i asked for a contact number to confirm the call was real, she just ended it straight away. total scam, blocked imediatly.

i keep getting calls from a number in manchester, this was the most recent. every time i check it out, its some kind of scam or spam, and since i don't know anyone from manchester, i just block it straight away, same as i would with a dodgy russian email. gonna report it as harassment since i'm registered with tps.
