Got a call about our internet and phone setup, with the bloke saying it was some kind of government rule. He even rattled off the names of the big bosses at our place, sounded pretty convincing. Tried pushing me to verify info on the spot, but I told him he'd need to send an email instead. Eventually, he gave up.

Got a call from a lady speaking with an Indian accent claiming she was with some Consumer department or whatever, saying she worked for OpenReach. She told me my broadband deal was going to change next month and I'd save 13 quid a month. But, she wanted me to give details about my BT package. I told her BT or OpenReach would already have that info and they’d inform me if anything changed. She just kept on going over the same thing, which seemed a bit dodgy. So I said no thanks and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming they could lower the cost of our business phone bill. Said their company was something like GV Force, I guess. They asked specifically for me, even though they rang our landline which is linked to my husband’s work, not me at all. Definitely be careful with these calls!

I’ve been getting calls from this number quite a few times lately. I always let it ring out, but I think I’ll go ahead and block it now.

This phone number has been ringing me off and on for a few days now, claiming I need to renew my Amazon Prime subscription, or that they're from V4 Telecom trying to switch my "BT internet" service - which I don't even use. They called me Geoffrey Adams, a fake name I started using about 5 years ago just so I could easily spot scams. So whenever they ask for Mr Adams, I know it's dodgy and handle it the way I usually do.

I got a call saying loads of money had been taken from my Amazon Prime, and they wanted me to press 1 or 2 or something like that. Obviously, it was dodgy, so I just hung up right away.

Got a call claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying my landline price was dropping from £18 to £12 a month from January. They rang my mobile and tried to verify my address, but it was totally out of date. When I asked them for my account number, the guy admitted he wasn’t actually with TalkTalk, but some "BT Overreach" firm. I ended the call sharpish. Surely, anyone legit would have my actual account details to hand if they were really calling about it!

I reckon this might be the first time I’ve received a call from this particular area code. However, my phone went silent as soon as the voicemail came on. I can only surmise that it’s one of those pesky nuisance calls. It seems like they’re capitalising on the fact that folks are spending more time at home lately. I opted not to pick up since I didn’t recognise the number at all.

Got a call but stayed quiet, since I figured it might be one of those auto-dial spam calls. Could hear loads of noise and people chatting like a telemarket place in the background. Nobody said a word though, then the call just dropped after a few seconds. Ring them back and it went straight to voicemail. Ended up blocking the number. I'm in East Sussex if that helps.

For some reason this number kept ringing me 3 times within just 5 minutes. I wasn’t really sure who it was, but when i said I’d contact the cops, they finally stopped calling.
