Got a missed call from a number flagged as scam on my phone, but I picked up anyway. They’re fishing for old folks who might be easy targets. If you sound clear and confident on the phone, they usually just hang up since they can’t tell if you’re elderly or not. I’m a pensioner myself but I reckon I don’t sound weak, so they dropped the call as soon as I answered. Proper nasty lot, these scammers preying on older people and trying to steal their cash.

Received a dodgy call claiming to be from the council or housing authority regarding some repairs. When I inquired about how they came by my number, the chap said it was from outdated records. I reminded him that I've never rented a council flat, and just like that, he cut off the line! Quite the shady business going on here, if you ask me.
