I received a call from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, offering a deal that sounded almost too good to be true - 600 minutes, unlimited calls to landlines, and unlimited texts for just £10 a month. It all seemed quite enticing, but what raised my eyebrows was her insistence on needing our bank details before she could send over any contract. Seemed a bit dodgy if you ask me!

I received a call from this number earlier today. The chap on the other end sounded as if he was trying to swallow the phone! He claimed to be from O2, trying to discuss potential savings on our phone contract. We had a solid idea about what we wanted, so we politely declined. Besides the dreadful line quality, we’ve got no reason to believe this wasn’t a bit of a dodgy call.

Today, we received a call from this number. The gentleman on the line sounded as if he had the handset stuck in his throat! He claimed to be representing O2, wanting to discuss when we might consider a better deal on our phone contract. With our current plan being quite satisfactory, we politely declined. Coupled with the terrible reception, it left us with little reason to believe this wasn’t a rather fishy operation.
