Got a call from a number claiming to be Amazon, saying there was a purchase of more than £1000 on my card and asking me to press 1 to verify it. I didn’t press anything. I looked over my Amazon and paypal accounts and everything seemed fine. Then I got a second call, very similar, but this time from a mobile number which I noticed others have mentioned too. Definitely felt like a scam.
