They claimed to be from Nationwide, but it was clear they weren’t the real deal.

I received three calls today, all of which I picked up, only to be met with silence followed by a disconnection right after I answered. When I attempted to call the number back, it turned out to be invalid. I would appreciate any efforts made to put an end to these bothersome calls.

This number rang me three times within an hour, all missed calls. After seeing what others have said, I’m relieved I didn’t pick up. Also, I don’t even have an account with Nationwide!

So, I got a missed call this morning around 10am from a number not found on Google. When I called back, a guy speaking in a foreign accent said he was from Nationwide Building Society and wanted to speak to me by name. He asked me to confirm my address, even mentioning my street and town. I wasn’t comfortable giving out that info, so I refused. The man insisted he had authority from Nationwide, but when I still didn’t confirm, he just hung up. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Somebody with an accent called and immediately asked if I was the person with my name and postcode, then just ended the call.

This number rang me three times but I didn’t pick up, and honestly after reading the reviews I’m quite relieved I didn’t.

They rang up asking for me by my last name but didn’t let me say who I was. I asked who they were and they claimed to be from Nationwide Bank. Then they gave me an address I’ve never lived at and wanted me to say if it was right. When I said it wasn’t, they just put the phone down. Definitely don’t give any info to these lot, total scammers for sure.
