I got a call from a woman who knew my name, but it was hard to catch what she was saying. From what I could gather, she was conducting a survey about people’s washing machines. It was before 9 in the morning, not long before Christmas, and honestly, I wasn’t in the mood to chat, so I told her that. She just hung up after that.

It’s really creepy how they’ve got my full name, address and even my postcode. I told the woman on the phone I was going to report her to the police and she just cut off. They really need to sort these calls out, especially since they target people who are more vulnerable.
