I received this number from the 1471 service after a call from a seemingly legitimate broadband provider. The caller was a genuine person (what a rarity!) and he was a chap whose syrupy spiel was swiftly derailed by my snarky and bemused tone (I usually play along just to waste their time). The moment he figured out I wasn’t buying his line, he hung up in a jiffy. I attempted to dial the number again, but encountered the dreaded "YOU HAVE DIALLED AN INCORRECT NUMBER" message. Is it possible to trace them for sending out a bogus number?
