The problem with the Claims People is that different teams don’t seem to be on the same page. If they just put in a name or Claimant ID into their system, they’d be able to check what’s going on right now. Instead, they’re just wasting their time and everybody else’s too.

Its been 28 days and no sign of my cheque yet, so after dodging their calls every day, I rang them this morning. The rep told me that even though they say the cheque takes up to 28 days, the banks actually get 35 days to process it. Makes you wonder who The Claims Guys are really working for!

These Claims Guys keep hassling me about money from a PPI claim. I’m still waiting on the payout, which apparently can take up to 28 days once the claim’s accepted. I’m getting up to 5 calls a day! I’ve been really polite and even asked one of the call centre people to sort out the constant calls, and he said he’d add a note so they wouldn’t call me for a week. But the calls just keep coming. I just want the money so I can get them paid off. Would I ever use or recommend these lot again? Absolutely not, no way.

Got two unwanted calls from The Claims Guys today. They wanted me to verify my full name, part of my address, and my dob. I said no way, told them I’m worried about my privacy. When I asked what was the purpose of the call, they just wouldn’t say. Then I asked if they could send me something in writing or email instead, but they said that wasn’t possible. My tip: always ask them to prove who they are before giving any of your info.

These claims people keep ringing me about my PPI refund payment. First time they called was right after I sent off the acceptance form, and they said I’d get the money by February 2nd. I thought that’d stop them calling so much, but nope, they’re ringing nearly every day. I just don’t pick up now, they can wait for the payment. Like someone else mentioned, I really should’ve looked around for a better deal - 36% feels like robbery. Maybe they need all that to pay for their never-ending calls chasing the money!!!

The Claims Guys - a bunch of overzealous numpties who’ve likely splashed about £3000 trying to track me down for a paltry £33. Honestly, all they had to do was realise that it can take a few days for funds to clear in the bank after a payout from the company. They ring you up without even having a good look at your account details and have the nerve to hang up as soon as you pick up, which is frankly a bit unsettling. Still, I reckon they’re not being malicious; they’re just a bit thick, really.

These claims people are something else. They had no clue I got my cash from one bank. When I rang a different bank, they said the claims lot never got in touch with them. They also had my birth date wrong and didn’t even know about the deal. Why would I give them anything? Every time they call, I just say I’m not home.
