Never get a reply when I ring back. Loads of calls come from this number and then my bill shoots up with charges from chat lines. I’ve told the phone company who provides my line that I’ve stopped my direct debit and will just pay what I actually owe once I get the proper bill. Tomorrow, I’m going to reach out to the claims regulator and also the legal ombudsman to sort this out. When I searched the number online, heaps of others have had the same problems. I get calls from these folks several times a day, usually two or three times. Every time I pick up, there’s complete silence and then they just hang up. It’s really irritating and quite disrespectful.

This company keeps ringing me all the time, except for Christmas Day so far. They call me first thing in the morning around 8:15 and then again at half past three in the afternoon. Is there anything I can do to put an end to these calls?

When you do a call check, a voice says "number not available." There's only like 10 related numbers connected to it. In this day and age, someone should really have the tech to put an end to this.

I got a call from this number today, and there was this posh lady on the line, but she hung up before I could ask who she was. I also keep getting calls from a Birmingham number, doing pretty much the same thing. Now about this Manchester one - it’s just 10 digits, so if you try ringing back, it says the number’s not valid. Feels like I’m stuck in some kind of weird prank war between Manchester and Birmingham, with an owl making all these calls or something!
