I received a message and called back, but had a confusing conversation with a lady regarding an error with my income tax. Surprisingly, she didn't ask for any confirmation of my identity! The only thing she insisted on was obtaining the name of my lawyer, which seems to be an American term, in order to resolve the issue before they took legal actions such as seizing my home and suspending my credit cards. After rightfully demanding clarification and requesting more information, the lady (or maybe not) abruptly hung up. It is crucial to address and resolve these types of calls to prevent potential harm or negative consequences for unsuspecting individuals who may not know how to handle such situations.

Weirdly, I also had a call from someone saying they were from BT security about my computer being infected. When I questioned him, he got really hostile and started threatening to call me everyday! Got a voicemail claiming to be from HMRC Customs and Revenue. They never said who to call back, just that the call had to be returned immediately or legal action would begin.
