I’ve had it up to here with this number pestering me daily. It rings my phone three or even four times throughout the day! I’m really beginning to lose my patience. Is there any way to put an end to this annoyance? I'm all ears for suggestions!

I suspect it’s something to do with an accident or perhaps some kind of insurance matter. They addressed me by my former surname, Miss Mxxx, so that’s a clear sign their records are outdated. I informed them they had the wrong number and clarified that I’m now Mrs Nxxx, but they just hung up on me. Fingers crossed they don’t try their luck again! They keep buzzin me, and I keep blockin every number from 0161, cos I’m sure it’s all the same lot even after I block em. Think I’m just gonna start makin weird noises when they call now. I keep getting bombarded with these phone calls throughout the day; it's frankly quite distressing. If this were a person following me around, I'd have the authorities on their case in no time. I find this incessant calling to be a form of harassment and incredibly vexatious. Surely there must be some way to put a stop to it? I picked up the phone once, and as soon as the line connected, there was nothing but silence on the other end-definitely a sign of a cold call. It’s infuriating! 😤

Got a call from an unknown number I hadn’t seen before. I picked up but just left the phone down without saying anything. The person on the other end ended the call since I wasn’t talking.

Been getting several calls daily for ages now, and finally caught one while I was free to answer. A bloke sounded like he was outside cos you could hear wind and stuff, so definitely not very professional. Used my old address, said they’re from PPI, and looked proper annoyed when I wouldn’t share my new address or phone number. Also got some odd voicemails with just wind and breathing on them. Seems like they’re rubbish at hanging up properly when nobody picks up. No use blocking them since they just switch numbers all the time.

There’s this ppl company keep callin me non-stop, like 36 times in a week! I’ve blocked a couple of their numbers and told em loads of times to take me off their list but they still keep ringin. Now, whenever I pick up, I just mess around and say stuff like "The job's done, what about the cash?" or "Where’s the spot to dump the bodies?" they usually go quiet then, or I pretend to run some escort service and joke about prices and stuff. Honestly, it’s the only way to deal with these annoying calls :)

It really gets on my nerves!!! I’m guessing these companies still gotta pay their phone bills, so why arent the phone providers stepping in to put a stop to this??? We’re paying for a service from them, they must know whats going on, so they should have some duty to protect us as customers!!!

ppi claim people keep ringing me like 3 to 5 times every day for about a week now. ive blocked their number but they keep using numbers that only differ in the last two digits so blocking doesnt really work. really frustrating. i picked up once and asked them to take me off their list or id report them but they just ignore it and keep calling!

Some bloke rang me claiming he was from the PPI team. I grabbed his name and phoned the real PPI folks, turns out he’s not even on their staff. I gave them the number that called me and they said they’d check it out since it’s obviously a scam to get more private info from people.

This number has been ringing me non stop all week. Each time I answer, I say I'm at the police station and the woman on the other end says sorry and that she must have dialled wrong. Then a few hours later, they call again. Really curious how they even got my phone number in the first place.
