Got a call about life insurance outta nowhere, and how they knew not just my name but my postcode too freaks me out.

Just hung up without saying a word, fed up with these interruptions messing up my day.

They called me about upgrading my life insurance and I played along at first. When they asked for my card info to supposedly ‘update’ the direct debit, I got suspicious. I told them the insurer should already hold my details anyway. The guy then claimed they'd ‘flush’ my info after taking the first payment, which made me ask what exactly ‘flush’ meant and how they destroy my details. Suddenly, he just hung up on me! Total scam - would avoid any dealings with these lot!

Got a call from 0161 354 4174, put them straight on block. Then another one came through from 0161 354 3835, blocked that too. Clearly some scammer using loads of different numbers to get through!

Got a ring from this number, no clue what they wanted tho. Feels like it could be some kind of scam to me.
