I got a call from someone saying I’d registered with some investment site. They actually had my full name, which freaked me out a bit. When I asked them to say the company name again, the lady snapped, “I just said it, it’s XXX,” but I didn’t quite catch what she said the second time. I told them I wasn’t familiar with that company and asked to be taken off their call list, then suddenly she just cut me off and hung up while I was still talking.
