Got a call from someone with a dodgy posh accent claiming to be from my local council housing, asking if I owned my house. I’ve just finished speaking with Cardiff council and they said it’s a scam. This is the second time I’ve had this weird call. Don’t hang around on the phone with them, block straight away - they might get into your call history or something. Not worth the risk!

Just had a call from some bloke with a dodgy posh accent claiming to be from the local housing association, asking if I owned my place. Thought it sounded fishy so I rang CARDIFF council straight after. Honestly, don’t hang about on the phone with him, he might be trying to get into your calls. Block him quick!

Got a call from 01613543876 but have no idea who it is. Can't say I recognise the number at all.

First they called saying it was just a marketing call, then the next day they switched to claiming it was about a debt, and by the following day they were saying it was something to do with Amazon. Total scam!

Got a call about some debt thing, was really impolite and just slammed the phone down when i said no thanks. Honestly dont pick up if this number calls you, best to just block it.

dodgy call. i played along and kept asking for their business details, like the company registration number, the secretary’s name, and various other stuff. as expected, they hung up on me in the end. but at least it was their call, not mine. ;-)
